Imar provided engineering consulting services for the design and planning of the Shubra Palace Museum project located in Taif. Our specialized team conducted in-depth studies on the museum and its requirements, analyzed the available space and location, and investigated the history and local heritage of the area. Subsequently, we designed a strategic plan to present the content and stories in the museum in a cohesive and engaging manner.
We created detailed designs for various exhibits, selecting suitable materials and technologies to achieve a unique experience for visitors. We collaborated with the architectural and interior design teams to coordinate the museum’s architectural design with our exhibit designs. Visitor flow was optimized, and the necessary space for each exhibition hall was provided, arranging the exhibits appropriately to create an ideal experience for visitors.
The design and planning services for the museum exhibition project of Shubra Palace showcase the project’s excellence in Islamic Romanesque architecture. Construction began in the year 1323 H / 1905 AD by Abdullah bin Awn Pasha. The palace, located on one of the main streets in Taif called Shubra Street, is a masterpiece of Islamic Romanesque architecture. It features a Romanesque influence on its roof, surrounded by trees from the outside. The rooms and ceilings are adorned with wooden engravings, and the palace consists of the main building and several annexes (4).
